Struggling with a RX 580?

I have an AMD RX 580 GPU and a Ryzen 5 1400 CPU, and more than enough ram for the game, yet im struggling to get a good stable 30 FPS at times. It even dips into >10 during certain events. Whats going on? Looking at benchmarks, similar posts, and videos using my same setup seems that I should be getting a more stable 60 on 1080p. I understand with the new content and patches that stable 60 might lower to 50 or even 40, but no where do I see other people getting like 8 FPS like I am. Whats even weirder is that I sometimes do get that 60+ FPS, but it just fluctuates between that super low 8 and a minute or two of 60 fps, but stays at 30 most of the time.

  • I no longer build PC's but that RX 580 is from 3 years ago and my take on it would be it is just not up to the task anymore. D2 is quite demanding and I just feel it's to much for those older gpu's. I'm not even playing D2 anymore deleted all 3 and the vault because it is just not a fun game anymore. I would also mention that CPU is probably giving you issues as well. That system really just isn't up to the task of playing the current D2 at 60 fps. You didn't mention what resolution you are playing at but I'm going to assume that's 1080p because 4k would be completely out of the question for that hardware you are using. That's my feelings on it but I wish you luck.
