Unfortunately, you had until the event to claim your rewards. As was mentioned in the TWaB: https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/51625 [quote]SOLSTICE EVENT CARD EXPIRING SOON Solstice ends soon! Players have until the weekly reset next Tuesday, August 9, to claim their Solstice Event Card rewards, spend their Event Tickets, and unlock the Flamekeeper title and Seal. [/quote] Now that the event is over, you cannot claim any further rewards. It's unfortunate that you thought the rewards would be given automatically even though it's not stated anywhere that that's the case.

The description on the card says "you instantly earn this bundle once the event card has been upgraded". There is nothing stating that it has to be "claimed" beyond purchasing the bundle. Bungie bungled the description and should make things right. The choice is simple: either grant the bundle to those that purchased the upgraded card or refund the silver.

    So that's that? I don't tend to keep up with TWAB and I understand it was my mistake to not make sure I got everything before the event ended. However, sure, it may not say that it's automatic claim anywhere. I'm 100% pretty sure that, when I acquired the upgrade, the section for the 3 instant unlocks was marked as "unlocked", therefore I didn't think I had to click on it to *claim it manually*. Because in the same way it doesn't state that its an auto claim, it's confusing to see the same mark of "unlocked" as the other claimable items. Overall, pretty frustrating. I get it, my mistake, but not allowing people to acquire items they PAID for durjng the event after its over, is mind boggling, when you can acquire season pass content among with other things after they are not available in-game, but you had purchased them.

  • I'd suggest heading over to the Destiny 2 - Feedback forum and leaving your thoughts there, as that's where the teams that look for player feedback/complaints/etc look for it. Your thoughts are more likely to get seen by the people that can make such changes there.
