So I was under the impression that we would finally get a cooldown timer for Blink with this rework. I feel like it was mentioned during the showcase, but I may well be wrong about that.
Bungie, you explicitly mention Icarus Dash as your inspiration in the latest patch log, and while the new audio and visual cue is great, it does pretty much nothing to help me figure out if I'm going to survive hurling myself off the next edge save for standing still and checking for the cue.
I mention Icarus Dash since it has an actual cooldown letting us know when the ability is back. For a game with as much jumping and platforming as Destiny, I struggle so much to understand why on earth you wouldn't add an ACTUAL timer to the screen.
I implore you to reconsider, or at least explain if there's some underlying issue with the code preventing this, because right now it just looks like none of you ever use the ability. I want to love the ability and use it as much as possible, but it's not feasible to use for any longer section as it is.
