Season launch bugs galore that cause things like an entire weapon archetype being disabled and a stat being bugged for 2/3 classes in the new sub rework, that likely won’t be addressed before the raid launches. If a Friday raid is necessary for time to address raid launch bugs, so is at least one reset of a new season for the seasonal game changes.
