@Bungie,
Can you please explain the difference between "Common" loot and "Uncommon" loot. If Exotic armor is "Common" and Enhancement Cores are "Uncommon" how come in the last 3 or 4 Master lost sector clears I've only gotten Enhancement Cores, the "Uncommon" drop, while I have seen no Exotic Armor pieces, the "Common" drop.
Feel like you're doing all of us a disservice by lying to us about drop chances.
Edit: Took me like 10 Master clears to get the new Hunter exotic.

Edited by Fives: 8/29/2022 6:30:33 PMDid you die at all during your runs? I did over 10 legend lost sectors last night, but it wasn’t until I did a flawless run that I got an exotic.

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 8/29/2022 5:45:44 PMTake that common as to mean “Getting short changed & fûqqed over in Hero/Master Lost Sector Skinner Boxes is common It’s uncommon to be rewarded for your 30run efforts” 😄
-
Notify the editors of Webster's English Dictionary Bungie had redefined the word "Common" to mean "EXTREMELY rare"
-
Lol it only took me 2 runs to get the hunters chest
-
Just stop running Master unless you want the Triumph for it. Stick to Legendary. The "increase" in drop chance does not offset the extra difficulty and time you spend in there. Over a long enough sample period for the same amount of total time spent in both, you will get more Exotics from the Legendary version.
-
The terms Common/Uncommon and Rare etc are the likelihood of you getting an exotic or whatever. I.e. if I says Common then your chances are quite decent, rare no so decent.
-
Make that 35 legend platinum clears for a SINGLE fricking exotic drop. Bungie keeps wasting players time with their abysmal drop rates. So fun and rewarding. One of the reasons why i stopped playing D2 besides the weekly drip fed story bit we get every season. Can't take this timewaster serious anymore.
-
I would just run Legend. It's easier, and you can make up for whatever shortfall the drop rate is, with the speed of clearing on Legend alone. Leave master for it's Triumphs. Unless they come out with actual chance percentages, there's no reason to think Master will do better.
-
Took literally 4 clears on Legend to get the new Warlock exotic helmet, which is supposed to be a "Rare" drop. Seems to me the droprates are -blam!- backwards between legend and master difficulty.
-
Ive tested it both ways and master has never done better at dropping exotics. It was faster to run regular to knock out 4-6 to get the exotic to drop.
-
Honestly, I don’t know if I’ve ever gotten an exotic to drop on master. It’s not worth the effort. Other than the challenge and the triumph stuff.

The drop rates used to be good they nerfed that too lol
-
Legend is 25% and master is 33%. Bungie really needs to add number to these types of things
-
The answer is not much
-
Master lost sectors are pretty much a waste. Average drop chance for legendary is about 20%. I think master is like 30%
-
Just get better RNG, it's that simple. 🙂

Similar story; ages ago when lake of shadows was the NF, I got 3-4 exotic armours back to back on legendary, but no NF weapon. Drop rates need to be fixed!
