I bought a cinema ticket for Avatar and then went home. I went to the cinema 3 years later and they refused to play the film! I've paid real money and everything! Ahem, so its a live service game and you pay for current content. You don't own the content you only pay to access it while it is available, like a film at the cinema. Yes I'm sure it stings and you feel injustice but you paid money for something you abandoned. This is how it is these days and yes to a degree it does suck, but if you're unhappy about it then don't give any more money to live service games, and make sure to read the Terms of Service next time to avoid disappointment.
