So this season we are collecting artifacts right? and many describe that inside the relics are body parts.
The Witness is making Eramis collect them, but why would The Witness want body parts?
Well, I think I know whose body parts they are and now I think I understand why The Witness wants them.
We got a glaive last season called Nezarec's whisper.
We also recently learned how Nezarec was a disciple.
The Drifter has apparently visited the fourth tomb of Nezarec, and the Drifter also said he has other relics like the ones we are collecting, I believe he got them from there.
I believe The Witness is trying to recollect the pieces to rebuild one of their disciples.
I believe The Witness is trying to ressurect Nezarec.
This next part is a bit of a stretch, but...
Nezarec is described as the final god of pain by some and based off that description I believe The Witness will use Nezarec to achieve The Final Shape.

He isn't just the final god of pain, that's not the end all, be all of that character. I mean it belittles Him entirely.
He is that which is end. That which covets sin. The final god of pain—the purest light, the darkest hour. And He shall rise again. When the guiding shine fades and all seems lost He will call to you. Fear not. All He offers is not as dark as it may seem. For Nezarec is no demon, but a fiend, arch and vile in ways unknown. He is a path and a way, one of many. And his sin—so wicked, so divine—is that he will never cower when dusk does fall, but stand vigilant as old stars die and new Light blinks its first upon this fêted eternity.
The extremes of the same coin. He is heads and tails. But what shape...what being do you think you'll be putting together? I feel like "don't meet your heroes" is about to be ringing in people's ears...hard. Who do I think it is? A version, one of many...but that's about all I'll say.

From what I've seen of ol Smokestack, the Witness, he may lack a corporeal body and needs one to inhabit. He doesn't care who collects the pieces. Once they are all united he can take it over.

ngl if they made a Nezarec voltron, I'd be all about it

Destiny’s Exodia.
-
Ah yes, the most powerful relic of darkness, Nezarec’s Balls.
-
Nezarec's Peen, 140 Hand Cannon Exotic...

Nazarec betrayed the Witness. The new exotic fusion rifle makes that clear. The Witness wouldn't bring someone back from death. He intends to use them see Nazarec's memories to learn why he failed during Humanity's Colapse.

I’m more curious to how he ended up cut up and boxed away across the solar system. Final Shape, unless it’s been changed too, has only meant the last one to prove themselves worthy of existence. You don’t need anyone for that. Bringing him back would be a regression, making it further away, not closer

Nezarec will fight for us. The Pyramid on Luna was his Pyramid. He haunted us with pain. This time he will stand with us The Light and we’ll have someone on the inside against The Darkness. Someone theorized that every time a planet falls to The Darkness The Witness offers them a Pyramid. This might be what happens In Lightfall. The Witness will offer Neomuna’s mightiest Warrior their own Pyramid if they aid The Darkness.

How come we don’t get to investigate tombs? We have to travel to dumb spaces rocks.
licks finger
We've been teased with nezarec for years, highly likely we see him in lightfall and definitely by final shape.
-
Sounds like the plot of Resident Evil Village...
-
So you're telling me , Nezarec's Taint?
-
Nezarec, or to build the Tormentors?
-
Idk if The Witness would want to resurrect him; rather, I'd expect it to try and take what's left of his power.
-
Nezarec plays a key role in the future of this world, and if the Witness needed Nezarec to create the final shape, then where would the power go to? The Witness is power incarnate, and that’s all I have to say, oh guardian mine…
