(For the poll, and this point, its not the game mode that pisses me off, its the entire Iron banner system as a whole) So, since the update and the drop of the "Iron Lord" title, I committed time to iron banner to hopefully be what I was back in D1. After finally competing the reset I needed this season to get it done, I must say I WILL NEVER PLAY IT AGAIN. Iron banner is quite frankly the worst travesty since...some horrible event in the world. I have never seen such an unrewarding, hellish, broken game mode and system that Iron banner has become. For what in gods reason, did they make it so the good rewards were in THE 2ND RUN THROUGH OF REPUTATION AND NOT THE FIRST?! Crucible and vanguard have theirs right in the first track but no, iron banner wants you to pretty much -blam!-, trying to fight game after game, hours upon hours, to only realize that you only have 2 weeks of this to get those 2 resets, and if those challenges are reset the next week its up, another 5 days of waiting till you have to play 18 matches so you can get the most rep out of each match, WHICH IS LITERALLY NOTHING. While also doing it with the possible worst subclass combo in the world. Not to mention while playing in banner for THE 2 RESETS, you also have to: 1: ACTUALLY HAVE A LIFE, 2: Play with your raid teams/dungeon crews,3: Play the Story/Season Content, 4: WORK OR SCHOOL SO YOU HAVE A FUTURE, and so much other -blam!- that its like their asking us to burn our will to live. Every match is a slugfest for the tiniest scraps and morsels of rep and rewards that it makes sense to just leave a match if lose is inevitable, as you can probably win the next match faster and get more from it. I remember when bungie said that they were looking at punishing quitters out of the casual game mode for quitting early and now I laugh at it. THE REWARD SYSTEM IS -blam!-, if staying in the match till its bitter end actual felt rewarding, then people would actually play it. But no, if they do that, AFK bots will rise up and just make everyone suffer through new circle of hell. They made such a "-blam!- up beyond proportion" system for this new season banner that make me want to go back and play Fortnite with a broken keyboard/controller. At least that will be more rewarding then the hours/days I just spent trying to complete this stupid title. I was an Iron lord in D1, I fought Siva back in both its normal and hardest difficulty, again and again, I buried the dead and lit each of the flames in that suedo tower. I didn't need this -blam!- reminder of the good times I once had, but I fought for it anyways, and now I wish Iron banner didn't exist at all. TLDR: The Reputation system of Iron banner sucks and its the most unrewarding and most Will draining then any terrible worldly event in existence(Not really but my god does it feel that way).
