A couple things to remember,
Battleye is not the only anticheat Bungie uses.
Even if it was, there is than just anticheat that is needed to support a new platform.
What Bungie would want to see is a HUGE increase in Linux gaming overall. Right now, devs and publishers dont want to put forth resources into a small market share. Linux as a whole only represents less than 3 percent of all PC OS installed. Once you narrow that down to specifics like gamers and then steamdeck, you can see it is a hard business decision to put resources into supporting it as a platform.

Fair post. I guess I'm more looking to see what things they would want to see and where we can voice support. I work in software, and I get how development paths are made and followed. But other than this I did not see any other way to officially show my interest in Bungie adding the option to play on a steam deck.

Bungie has already commented and the answer is.... NO. As you have been told if there were more using Linux there may be a future option but until it becomes more popular Bungie won't devote the resources needed. Ps. The Stadia version can use Linux BUT that was developed by Stadia themselves.
