I love having to sweat my ball off in fking QUICK PLAY ... Q U I C K P L A Y! See a problem with that? The name in itself and the identity behind it entails just hopping into a quick game to have fun. I tried veering off from the meta one game, and got absolutely ran by a bunch of weirdos sweating their nuts off with No Time shotgun, shotgun HC, etc. Oh, and now I can't back out of a game without getting banned from an entirely DIFFERENT PLAYLIST?! Make that make fking sense. Typically in a AAA FPS game, the RANKED or COMPETETIVE playlist has SBMM. You know... because it's supposed to be COMPETETIVE. NOT FKING QUICKPLAY.
You interns at Bungie never cease to amaze me with the flat out ridiculous and brain-fking developements and ideas. Stop hiring liberal arts graduates, and start hiring people with actual qualifications for the job. Or even just common sense!! That would be great! OR OR OR, MAYBE PLAY PVP IN YOUR OWN GAME BEFORE YOU START MAKING CHANGES TO PVP. Right now, trials and comp is more casual than 6s. HOW TF DOES THAT HAPPEN?! You oughta just sell D2 to another developer. You guys just keep making the game worse and worse with one stupid change after another. It's honestly impressive. I never thought a game dev of your size could keep fumbling the ball each consecutive update.
So no more horsesht qp i guess, I'll just have to go to comp to have fun and try out different loadouts.

Embrace the ball sweat Never going to get better playing lesser players.

There is no QuickPlay. Bungie removed this queue more than a year ago when gamers wanted to choose their match type. They were leaving a match as soon as it began. Matchmaking was not quick anymore. Bungie’s solution to improve matchmaking time was crossplay. QuickPlay was a short-lived queue that provided random Control and Clash matches through a queue. It is long gone and never coming back. The name does NOT refer to the speed at which matchmaking occurs in a single playlist. Control has replaced QuickPlay. Read the description before you click on the queue.

Edited by A_mo: 10/2/2022 2:53:07 PMThe biggest thing I've noticed about control is that this season everyone is saying pulse rifles are cheesy and easy to use yet they don't really work when I use them. My assists will be higher than my kills from all the ghost bullets. Other than that I don't know why people keep calling it sweaty. Maybe slow down and think about what's really happening during the matches and you'll see that it definitely doesn't have to be sweaty and you'll end up with roughly the same outcome magically.

I see no problem with it at all. Get sweaty or don’t, play it or don’t. Either way, no one else wants to hear yours or anyone else’s complaining.
I love having to sweat my ball off in fking QUICK PLAY ... Q U I C K P L A Y! See a problem with that?.
Due to all the sweat in quickplay, sbmm was introduced Sweats never stop sweating, regardless of cbmm or sbmm

If it's now "sweaty" it's because it's literally matchmaking, which means you're a sweat. Only in games like these do competitive players want anything but competition. You don't get to farm beginners forever. Or get optimal builds, meta weapons, best and Adept versions of those weapons, and get triple 100 stats then expect to play those with a predictably far lower 'skill' or effectiveness. 600+ Combat Rating differences are a FOREGONE CONCLUSION. A pointless stomping farm experience. It's not the only option; you can still cheese PvP with the other CBMM SBMM-removed modes. And it's not been labelled QP for years. The app is simply using outdated legacy code. Each mode clearly tells us which preference it currently uses.

when i lokk at the pvp options none of them are labeled Q U I C K P L A Y.

Edited by BraddyBo: 10/1/2022 5:30:02 AMI just don’t play control or the rotator anymore, just like during the last sbmm era in shadowkeep. Control is a laggy sweaty mess and the rotator sucks because mayhem and scorched is trash, momentum is cod mode and clash plays like “classic mix” (good players escaping from sbmm control/quickplay). I’ll stick to casual trials/ib and comp where 3v3 sbmm is nowhere near as bad as 6v6 sbmm.
-
Control is the new comp but without meaningful loot. Trials is actually more casual now which is hilarious to me how disconnected everyone is from this game. Im glad at least trials is cbmm because I at least get good loot and meaningful materials
-
Looks like you quick played past the announcement over a year ago and quick played past the screen each time you chose Control from the director. THERE…IS…NO…QUICKPLAY
-
Play the other 6v6 mode clash. Or are there no casuals there for your chill matches ?

Still issues

Am guessing your play style is slow paced and you can’t keep up with the 3.kd players storming around the map in control killing everything. I actually like the changers because since it’s been turned on I don’t get 5 bots to carry as you can see by the 100 crown is mine medals, this is because nobody gets a we ran medal anymore.. Keep the changers it’s glorious 🙏🏼 amen to the baby Jesus
-
Nothing stopping you from playing casually, you just need to accept that playing causally = lower KDR.
-
You have a 3+ kda. So if you have to work so hard that means you are in a lobby that’s higher then your skill is. Simple fix is drop your kda so you fight against people in your skill level.
nibbles crayon
Says the player with a 3.79 k/d

I'm in the same boat gotta sweat every game but let's be honest it was no differnt before sbmm I still had to sweat my -blam!- off to carry all my sub 1.0 teammates but now atleast there a good chunk of the average player who can enjoy pvp honestly It doesn't feel like it's gotten much sweater it just seems like there are less bad players to stomp easily but I'm still winning most gunfights with my offmeta loadouts so in my opinion atleast there has been more pluses to sbmm than minuses
-
There is no QP playlist.
-
According to bungie when you get suspended its considers a Competitive game mode. No more relaxing PvP. We must never shower now.
-
Edited by Twin Inferno: 10/1/2022 4:39:16 PMIt’s almost like the only reason we would play QP is for fun, and casuals are confused why we don’t want SBMM Almost like it’s not fun at all… weird
-
Honestly I prefer it as with cbmm I had to always bring the busted weapons with cbmm I can play casually and use the worst weapons possible and not instantly get obliterated by the 6 stacking sweats. I do think it needs to change but cbmm is not the way to go.
-
Oh hey look ! Crucible is slowly shapeshifting into Warframe’s Conclave.
-
Bungie moment: sbmm in a casual mode and cbmm in the most competitive mode🤗
-
To be fair it's no longer called quick play but it doesn't excuse the fact
