Edited by NotCreative123: 10/2/2022 12:56:56 PMControl is the playlist intended to allow everyone a chance at fun. Thus, SBMM is used here. Trials is the mode intended to reward skill. It's not fair to implement SBMM in Trials without scaling the rewards, so CBMM is used in Trials. For top players, Trials is easier than Control. It may seem backwards, but it meets the requirements of each mode.

Bro what? Trials is supposed to be competitive. I’m a 1.9 overall in trials, 3 this season, and because of CBMM, 9/10 I get players who are negative, and I just 5-0 them. Idk about you, but that doesn’t seem competitive to me. Trials SHOULD be a game mode comparable to League Play in COD, Ranked in Valorant, etc. Where, as you can imagine, you are paired against people of similar skill, making the match(es) more competitive.

Edited by NotCreative123: 10/2/2022 12:54:39 PMI agree with you. However, SBMM would have to be implemented in tandem with changes to the Trials reward structure. If a very bad player has the same chance to go flawless as a very good player (and the reward structure remains the same), then you have not rewarded skill, which is the purpose of the mode. EDIT: And please don't use your personal stats as evidence lol
