Is it just me or are Titan and Warlock classes much cooler and have better design on armour?
Hunters are meh in my opinion, but i don't want to switch class because of a shallow thing as outfits. Love the hunter class but each time i'm in the tower some scary looking warlock with antlers and cool boots show up. Or when i'm playing a strike some bad -blam!- titan shows up with a glowing dead space (Isaac Clarke) looking helmet.
The worst part ...well, it's two parts, is helmets for hunters. Did the design team do these last and ran out of ideas?
Second part is legs....omg the design is so generic and with 5 different names on the same 5 pairs with slight modifications is just lazy.
Why can't the leg's be more "buffed" with gear on them, holsters, knifes (yeah a few with ankle knives), charms, trophy skulls and so on.
I want more raw looking hunters. Not shiny castle guards with perfect ironed pants.
War torned, battle worn, dirty, filthy, muddy, snowy. (Not a single snow covered shader? Even no time to explain and cold heart have this as ornaments).
At least let us change it up a bit.
Sure some shaders make it look better but it's the design. Put stuff on there, the latest season pass outfit looks good with both the torso (knives and scythe) and arms with pointy armour...legs on the other hand, nope.
Also, it's been 4+ years maybe it's time to allow us to remove cloaks or at least an option to show hood up or down.
Poncho? Exo stranger has one.
And before anyone reply, yes i have bought 3 sets from the eververse store (the hood down and the helmet and those others), i have a ton of shaders and 97% world/factions armour unlocked.
The rest are just shiny king's guard's. Speaking of shiny...easy up on the well polished blinging shaders. Just look at the response to scarlet semblance... Players loved it. Maybe time to change things up?
Not to promote others but the team should look at cyberpunk for some cool designs and maybe even hunt showdown for reference to evil looking hunters (disregard the time and place).
I know a lot of us in the community like to change and try out different outfits and designs, it's a big part of D2, heck even websites and YouTube channels evolve around this.
But at the end of the day i speak for myself and maybe players are satisfied as it is right now. I know that i don't want to run around killing evil monsters in dark dungeons wearing a sparkling purple outfit with moving clouds on my forced cloak.
End of rant.
