After thinking more on it, I believe the reasoning behind why we get “1” mat now, is based off the D1 players tendency/patterns/behaviour of hoarding loads of mats as trading was a bit more cohesive, the speaker, motes, heavy ammo synths all contributed to the reason why we get “1” Material now. But I’d argue the players tendency/patterns/behaviour has changed as doing “runs” for mats wasn’t as engaging in D2 for whatever reason (player maturity imo) but has never been large enough problem like cores or shards etc it’s rarely discussed on the forums. Rahool not letting you buy stacks of 50 or 100 is just narcissistic imo as the reason provided to community was “buyers remorse” which is a user based issue so still don’t believe this one.
