Agreed but honestly I think planetary materials can be done away with. Just pointless filler currently. Would rather they modify all planets to have the same “planet materials” as Savathuns Throne World.

They need us to sink legendary shards into something and planetary materials are one part of that ideology. It why there is no way to efficiently farm those mats.

Was it not filler in D1 as well? I’d argue even more so with all the mat grinding

Agreed but the games identity keeps changing every year and back then I think it’s clear they didn’t know what to do for a solution. I just hope they remodel the whole system to mirror Savathuns Throne World since it’s far less intrusive and we already have plenty of other materials.
