Gyrfalcon's Hauberk still disabled
Are we gonna ever be able to use it? The thing has been disabled for weeks. Getting a bit ridiculous here Bungie.

Probably best to delete the entire hunter class since they can’t fix it. I don’t know of any other option

1 ReplyAs a Hunter main, I have to wait for Bungie to completely fix the exotic. But for how long? Just re-enabled it on PVE stuff. Crucible and Gambit can just stay disabled as long it stay the way. Even my clanmate was testing his patience of when it was re-enabled. Someday Bungie will put up a hotfix involved with hauberk AND Duality as me and my clanmates will go and farm there.

We have decided to scale down its efficacy, like other hunter exotics, and introduce one that works well in PVE to promote teamwork and coordination." Also Bunge: "We've noticed hunter players using this new exotic within teams, working together to accomplish takes. We have decided to disable it while we determine how best to nerf it before introducing another hunter exotic which will work well to promote [certain playstyle]" Solution as a Hunter Main: knowing Bungie's tendency to nerf Hunter exotics and abilities (ie duskfield gren + Renewal grasp being "OP" but ignoring the havoc of Contraverse Hold + Void Grenade lol) , do not become attached to any Hunter exotic that enhances or synergizes well with any hunter abilities. It will eventually reach the point where, because the Hunter demo tends to have more players than others, players will complain hunters are allowed to use guns and Bungie will be like "We've noticed Hunters are using weapons in ways not intended and are shooting enemies in PVE and PVP. In order to rebalance the game, we are disabling this as we work on a solution" That seems to be the history and practice. So looking forward to First Descendant and, hoping, them learning from the successes and failures of bungie.

The one exotic for hunter that would have been great for glaives, and the remove it instantly because it works the way they coded it. Unless something breaks pvp, if they launch it broken in pve then that's their fault, if it makes the game too easy until they fix it, again, they're the one that launched it broken.

Well to be fair the new titan gauntlets were locked for 2 weeks, but came back nuked. So they're probably trying to not do the same.

After the season is over. They always introduce new weapons/armor every season then disable until next season lol

Don’t forget, it took them 1/2 the season, last season, to fix the sidearm mod that was broken. So maybe a couple more weeks if we are lucky for GH. I got it from the lost sector about 2 weeks ago. Was excited to get it, then realized it was disabled 😠

It's like you people never listen when I tell you their playbook for Hunter exotics. Disable it, forget about it for weeks, eviscerate it with 2 weeks left in the season and hope noone notices.

Yeah going off past exotics like icefall mantles, blight ranger, etc they're most likely not gonna fix it until next season.
