Issue has occured since the hotfix on September 20th.
I can launch destiny through steam and play for 39 minutes with no error (monitored by the current session timer on the steam overlay) but then before it hits 40 minutes it crashes with no error every single time at the exact same time. Activity being played doesnt matter, happens while playing and while idle on the title screen or in orbit.
Ive tried:
Verifying files
Uninstalling and reinstalling BattleEye
Uninstalling and reinstalling Destiny
Uninstalling and reinstalling my gpu drivers
Rolling back to multiple versions of old drivers
Using studio drivers
Fresh windows install
Underclocking GPU
Underclocking RAM
Reseating GPU and RAM on the mobo
Updating BIOS
Running destiny and the destiny launcher as administrator, with and without fullscreen optimization
Running destiny and the launcher in windows 8 compatibility mode
Giving destiny real time priority in task manager
Giving windows defender full permissions to the destiny process
Nothing appears wrong in task manager; Total DRAM usage never exceeds 50% (8gb out of 16) with destiny itself using 3gb, VRAM usage never exceeds 1.5 gb on a 6 gb card, Temps never even get high enough for the GPU to turn on its second fan. Not a single even slight abnormality in the performance graphs in task manager.
This does not happened on any other game. Tested on Elden ring, Forza horizon 5, and minecraft, both idle and playing, can run these for hours with no issue. Has to be an issue with destiny specifically or battleeye. No idea what to do at this point
