if streamers began voicing their opinion on the shocking state of duality in their vids and threaten to boycott destiny 2 you watch how fast bungie would fix this -blam!-

They do bring it up, just in a way that's palatable. Not idiotic screeching. And it's been mentioned in the twab. So it's likely soon to get fixed ****DISCLAIMER**** I'm not saying it was OK for it to ever be as bad as it was

I think ppl are more pissed at that they locked it behind a pay wall an has not worked they way it was supposed to since release

Streamers will never risk getting on Bungie’s bad side. They are making a living off playing a video game, which is probably blowing their minds when they step back and think about it. No way they are going to “have integrity” because the only thing that matters is milking it as long as they can until a better game with huge player interest comes out. They will keep propping up Destiny even though it is barely even fun any more.

Nah, there is no “Destiny killer” out there. Just watch how they hype Lightfall - they are masters at it - they will get people’s hopes up then will ignore the players’ complaining once they see all the bugs and same mindless grinding. That has been the model for years. Bungie is really good at making awesome trailers that are way better than the actual gameplay.

See if there was something to compete with destiny bungie would probably do this for marketing and money reason but everyone has tried and failed

Games have tried to compete with destiny but the live service model is expensive and having it go on for over a decade means that destiny is a sinking ship waiting to be fully pulled under, only delaying the inevitable by leeching onto activision and Sony to stat a float for the limited time it has left. Destiny 3 is a better idea than continuing to push dlc on an outdated engine that has such a chokehold on development that it takes months to see minimal bug fixes or changes.

Sony bought destiny in a whole because they where making so much money and there doing well and they knew they can make money off of it. Sony did there research before buying and Activision and bungie was a partnership and Activision try to screw bungie by making them rush content and trying to make them like cod by trying to make them put out a new game every years the evidence is there

Like I said, leeching into bigger hosts to stay afloat, sure bungie was bought by Sony right after the release of witch queen, one of the most hyped up and preordered expansions in destiny history. They had their numbers bolstered by a yearly content update that added more broken things to the game than it fixed. Lightfall isn’t as hyped and in fact more people are apprehensive towards its release because of the issues the witch queen brought to the game and have yet to be properly addressed or fixed. Catering to literally nobody by blatantly ignoring major issues and fixing unnecessary minor ones. So although at the initial purchase of bungie they were successful, it’s still a slowly sinking ship that will inevitably sink without patching up the holes that matter.

Na Sony looks at all the numbers and look at all the history and content that bungie has done and knew it would benefit them and they can make money off of them no leeching to it Sony made a Business move and it was a good one. Next up destiny has always had issues d1, d2, even halo games have issues. See the problem is the Community not the Company this Community is just as bad as League of legends and it’s getting worst everyone Believes they deserve everything since they paid for it but in reality a lot of u guys don’t remember the old ps1 days or the Nintendo,super Nintendo, Sega, Sega genesis or other old games that had problems there was no fixing them if u got soft lock then u had to restart the whole game yea it was not that big of a deal to much but it was still there

It’s not that I feel I deserve everything, I just feel like so many known issues go untouched while minor issues getting quickly swept up. Like the divinity nerf, yeah it needed to be nerfed but you know what else needed fixed? Duality that’s been bugged since it’s release btw. Or the loot tables giving somebody the same piece of gear 5 times in a row before it finally gives you something else. Unresolved issues that have plagued the games for years is really a good investment

I guess I don’t see it that way because I have never had that issue with the gear or duality I got the exotic 1 try and never went back lol so that on me I guess

It was the same with ghorn in d1 and vex I bought it when cut sold it and then got it to drop same day then did VOG and got vex first run lol sometimes I hate my luck
