I don't understand this take at all. When crafting was launched you had to complete the Deepsight Resonance thing on guns you didn't even like/want JUST to get crafting materials! It was truly painful. Then if you actually wanted to craft a gun you had to get 3 or 5 red-borders of that gun and level up the Deepsight Resonance on it EVERY TIME to extract a pattern. That's hundreds and hundreds of kills and hours and hours of time - just to craft a single gun. They have removed so much grind and crafting material chasing from the weapon crafting thing this season it's not even funny. Huge improvement.

Thats my perogative, I only log in now in Tuesdays to claim my free pattern and depending what PvP/Nightfall is I miiiiight play more. The grind in this game has been reduced but still is to much and honestly after 5-7 years of Game Development on ONE game, you think it would be better designed lolol

Not sure what games out there except for kiddie ones or Sim City doesn't have some form of this "grind", but if that's how you feel it's all good with me. Nobody said you had to even craft weapons dude. Good rolls drop all the time. The enhanced perks aren't blowing your mind to the point that you gotta have em. Second job? lol okay.

You can call it "grind" or whatever you want, but what happens to Destiny when we have absolutely nothing to strive for and no goals to set for ourselves? No challenges to meet? Cooking, biking. Drawing or reading. Ect. Never base your sense of self by achieving in game triumph. It's short and fleeting, can/will be taken away at a moment's notice. Plus you actively have caused an artificial imbalance in hormones as YOU CHASE the serotonin reward of seeing "TRIUMPH COMPLETED" Now wean yourself off the t*tties of Perfectionism, get some mental health breaks and Realize THIS IS A VIDEO GAME. Find a hobby or a sport something outside You will feel like a new persons that Chore Grind content will start feeling like a chore. Not a video game. Put down the game every now and then, and find Hobbies you can do to get these serotonin induced hazes for that IS WHAT YOUR CHASING. The rush of good feelings everytime you check a box. A chemical from your brain Gamblers, addicts, They chase That Same Fix you just described in your post. --- It's time to make actual game STORY content, not game-played-extension GRIND Content THERE IS A DIFFERENCE between STORY/chores. I agree. The drops are painful but other than that it’s great. I like crafting quite a bit and they’ve torn out the bad parts in my opinion.
