See you next week Lol but seriously you did the right thing by leaving if it was frustrating you. I don't think it's wrong that crafted weapons are hard to get because it only hurts as bad not to have them as you let it hurt. So if it hurts you bad, then cutting your losses is the right thing to do since a videogame is supposed to just be fun with no strings attached.

  • With their FOMO and all strings attached to that FOMO model?

  • Thank you for adding to my example. You don't have fun in the game, but I do, and so do many others. So if you were to enjoy the game, then these things wouldn't look like FOMO as much as they would just look like the nature of a live-service model. I would also add that the exotic kiosk in the tower is a highly anti-fomo measure Bungie have taken that most seem to take for granted.

  • If you think this game's grind is in an acceptable condition, then you are just boot licking. There are so many ways to improve the "grind" without the need of layers and layers of RNG that lead to people needing to spend tens of hours doing the same auto-scroller activity to get the item you want. This is disgusting and unethical game design and the FOMO makes it out right manipulative. These devs are just garbage humans honestly.

  • First of all, I'm surprised by the degree of ostracism in that idea, that unless you dislike a key part of the game, the content model, you're being unreasonable. Also that seems like quite a dissonant idea, especially for a player of your caliber who is at least nearly GM-ready. I would think that you'd want to like the game enough that you would pay the most attention to what you do like. I don't know what you think about, but I certainly hope you try to enjoy yourself in a videogame. Anyway, on to your consideration. If there are ways to improve the grind, then unless you offer an idea, then that throws your whole argument into question. If you can't come up with anything, that means you don't know exactly what's wrong, and/or there may not actually be a solution for the problem. So make a suggestion and let's hear it. But with regard to solutions: If the solution leads to reducing the time demand on the grind, you must recognize that this is a double-edged sword. Yes, it's easier for you to get your loot, but that also means there is more time you spend twittling your thumbs between expansion releases. So you have to ask yourself if that's really what you want. And if they were to make more content, it would just lead to a delay on the expansion, so if it became the plan to make more exciting seasons, then they would have to put more of them in between each expansion release.
