Eager edge has been in the game and remained relatively unchanged for 4 seasons. It’s a meme perk for a meme weapon

they did it because of kings fall jumping puzzle. they can take their jumping puzzles and shove it. i heard lots of people have a problem with that puzzle. might be the hardest jumping puzzle in game.

It’s the same path everytime, It might be the “hardest” but that really doesn’t matter because none of the jumping puzzles are hard. They nerfed eager edge so they wouldn’t have to guide encounters and jumping puzzles around it, same reason why they nerfed worldline skating. Bungie wants to put in the bare minimum effort when manufacturing their content, and when their exists an item or perk that allows people move as fast as eager edge does, this nerf was inevitable, everyone who’s shocked and appalled by the nerf clearly doesn’t know how bungie likes to do things. Extend out the grind as long as possible, delay quality of life updates as much and as often as possible and take away any and all things that makes the game easier/fun/enjoyable

first, a jumping puzzle should not prevent anyone from doing a raid. they went overboard with jumping puzzles. eager edge has been around for 11 months why did it take so long to touch it? I saw a video of a guy saying a lot of players have trouble with that puzzle which means it was designed too hard just because you find it easy does not mean everyone does. some speculate it was because of PVP but they said you can still kill the same way with eager edge after the nerf. it defeats the purpose for the enhanced perk. a jumping puzzle is supposed to be fun. a raid encounter at the end of a raid is supposed to be challenging and is the main point of the raid not a jumping puzzle. a jumping puzzle is an accessory, not the main event. i think someone said you can still well skate past the puzzle without eager edge.
