More than happy to see Eager Edge nerfed, the people who spam it are among the most insufferable players on the game. It's used for team-killing and attempting to get World Record Any % Strike Speedruns.....while in the matchmade playlist.

They didn't fix the team killing mate. All they did is make it so you can't save yourself if you get launched.
-
Brain rot.
-
Disliking team-killers and people who speedrun basic activities like their life depends on it is bad, now?
-
The nerf doesn’t stop teamkilling, wellskating, or shatterskating. It just makes it so you can’t hit two eager edge swipes in one activation. All it’s doing is decreasing the fun of the maybe 5% of players actually using that speed tech. A pointless change that invalidates the farm for the enhanced version and people capable of pulling it off.

I expressed my dislike for the perk and the people who use it.

Wow you’re clueless

Looks like I found and upset an Eager Edge user
-
I don’t even use an eager edge sword, I just know how to read patch notes. I’m glad your intelligence doesn’t fully represent the community.
-
Please, inform me of what I said in my original post that's wrong. Did I say that the nerf changes any of that? Before insulting my intelligence, check your own comprehension skills.

Nerf does nothing to stop that team killing
-
I didn't say that it does. I said that I'm happy that it was nerfed and that I don't like the people who use it.
-
Yeah well you got screwed too because this nerf wont change any of that.
-
Somehow, I think that only being able to use it once per activation and not two or three times will slow people down. Just a feeling.
-
It wont, skating is unchanged. This only nerfed it in pvp.
-
Who mentioned skating? There are plenty of people that just use the perk on its own for speeding around.
-
Thats not how people used it for speed. People use skating to speedrun. Which is unaffected. Understanding how the actual sword works is important to understanding how this nerf thankfully did nothing at all and fun still exisit for another patch note
-
If you want to go fast, you're going to skate. The grounded swings just dont go far enough.
