also, week 8 lol :Collect 160 Map Fragments and 1600 Treasure Coordinates throughout the Season.
im hoping the 1600 Treasure Coordinates will count from the beginning of the season lol

And the fact that you can see what the challenges are ahead of time by searching them makes me feel way less pity for anyone consistently playing that’s complaining about it. If you’ve paid attention, you knew these were coming and could have prepared for it by getting mods on the starchart that help you get more red border chances, etc. These aren’t meant to be done overnight or in a week even, but rather (holds breath for dramatic effect) a SEASON!

If it isn't I'm done with Seaonal challenges. I already have, just playing, a little over 3K coordinates as of this post. Not doing another 1.6k for a seal.

This is so weird. Seasonal challenges were never so pointlessly grindy in the past. Are they trying to prove player engagement to Sony or something? This is frustrating and actively pushing me away from the game.

They aren't thinking about fun, its getting more obvious with every season they just want numbers and fun factor is barely on their radar.

I agree that you are correct but I don’t understand the logic? How does simply more play time equate to more money for them? If I have a fulfilling and fun experience in a shorter time that’s fine, I’ll go on to tell other ppl how good it is and attempt to persuade them to get involved. If I am constantly grinding something I hate but it’s addictive I will actively tell ppl not to get involved. It’s like comparing -blam!- with a Victoria’s Secret model to smoking!
