Too much technical limitations, you do know this is Destiny right? They can't even put an exotic in the game without breaking it.

I've thought about the tech during drafting this idea. We shouldn't dismiss ideas because of issues in the past. Instead, issues should be learned from and used in future testing of new content. Most of the functionality exists to some degree already. * Bungie has implemented custom games for Crucible, which allow you to configure portions of the activity prior to launch. This is similar to how the terminals would work. The portal would spawn an activity and port you to it, similar to how they have done with some of the seasonal quests. * Bungie has testing areas present in some ViDocs that allow them to spawn in mobs. That is how the spawning mechanics would work. * Bungie can import subregions of larger maps. This is how the pirate hideouts work currently. This would be what is used to load up environments. * Bungie has implemented a level system with the Infinite Forest a couple of years back and with the Haunted Forest activity which repurposed those functions for Festival of the Lost. * They could use some of the logic from Prisoners of Elders in the D1 build of the game too. * Dares of Eternity has power up capabilities. We have explosive world objects in other content. Revive tokens exist in raids and GM nightfalls, which also has the functions to add a new token to the counter upon champion kill.
