I was going to get on and play for a little bit earlier after not playing for a bit but couldn't connect so I went back to my other game. Part of the reason I quit playing was for connection issues and major bugs especially in the dungeon we had to pay for. Bungie has just been getting worse and worse it seems.

Same. My friend and I stopped for over a year because of this kind of stuff and for the simple fact that they hyped the dlc's. We decided a week ago to pay for the deluxe edition and start playing. All was fine until yesterday. I kept getting weasel error code. Even now I'm trying to play and keep getting "contacting destiny 2 servers" and then getting the error code and I get kicked. I'm not happy either. To pay 80 bucks for this and can't even play.
