The whole game is being squeezed, like a crab in boiling water. Take seasonal armour. First season this year, focus armour would give 2 really high spikes, making triple 100 builds very easy. Next season focus armour would still be good, but split into 3 spikes of lower numbers, but it cost double the previous season per piece of armour, so double the grind. This season the grind is just as bad but the rolls are 50/50 on if you get a 56-59 or 60-64 n the spikes are awful, like split between 4-5 columns.
