What would you consider a “New Light” to be?

Interested to see the responses as I might be considered a “New Light” by few since I started in BL
Edit: I’ll add my own definition of it
A player who has begun in the last year who doesn’t care enough about the game to learn the mechanics and the lore in order to understand the game better.
(Ig since I’m technically a “New Light”, I’m trying to defend myself Fromm being called one?)

A new player. New enough that they're still using blue or low-stat purple gear, generally not masterworked, don't have many mods, usually the only exotics they have (if any) are pretty bad ones.

Anyone that doesn't know what is going on. This games tutorial is complete and utter garbage.

Anyone brand new to the game, possibly also anyone that hasn’t played D2 since the New Light campaign was added. To the latter this is almost an entirely new game and so they are pretty much new players.

If they just stayed with the current season and have yet to finish witch queen

Beyond Light or Witch Queen entry. Or F2P with no Purchase of an Expansion before Beyond Light. Vets are D1 Beta and D1 Vanilla players.
