To list them up... I miss from Destiny 1:
* Weapon leveling (unlocking the skills and perks made you actually value your trash rolls and rolls in general than today)
* Factions and Rep Levels (they were, after the TTK/Rise of Iron reworks, a very good time sink for endgame players and casuals alike)
* Weapons Day (do I need to say more?)
* Character leveling from ground up (Destiny 1 starts with you discovering all those skill tree options through XP unlocks and you start by a reasonable 0 power instead of 1350 or what it is nowadays)
* Areas felt more mysterious and long-lasting
* Heroic Strike Playlist
* Combined Arms (Crucible Mode/Maps)
* Special Ammo Boxes (hate me for that, but I love how those boxes did slow down the game pace in PvP and forced micro-choke points on maps)
* Armor designs (wish we had more armor designs from James Yavorsky from D1 in Destiny 2)
* Weapon designs
* Locations felt grittier and more dangerous (Destiny 2 looks too bright/explored. "Darkness" is barely feel-able imo)
So far I don't think I can nail down some more. If you know/miss something, feel free to add it in the comments. Let us discuss our favorite aspects of D1, Veterans :)

Edited by Unbreakable Patches: 11/6/2022 4:59:03 AMThere’s not really anything I miss from D1 barring a couple exotics at the most. It was barely even a game until Rise of Iron/Age of Triumph. And the sense of any kind of “mystery” was because the game wasn’t 8 years old. Arms Day was also trash.
