Firstly, I think the catalyst needs a bit of adjustment. Miniguns usually have very long ranges, moreso than normal guns and I don't think it needs to be said how little usage this weapon gets in crucible or PvE for the movement speed dampener and low reload speed. The M134 Minigun is an American 7.62×51mm NATO six-barrel rotary machine gun that can fire up to 6,000 rounds and reach ranges of almost 1,005m or 3,300 ft. That's roughly a kilometer in length. In comparison, your average AK47 fires at ranges of around 300 meters.
Personally I don't fully understand the choice of making the Sweet Business so short range on a design standpoint. 35 seems a bit low for 90% of maps and trying to aim at close ranges is a bit of a hassle due to the lack of control when hip firing. If we got the same stability whilst hip firing as we do when ADSing, then I think that would also make the weapon more usable but at the same time I also think the short range needs to be changed regardless.
Give the catalyst +20 range along with the effect it already has and it'd be a truly Sweet transaction for everyone.
Just giving it Vorpal would be a godsend but also intrinsic anti barrier would make it great too. Both would make it compete with the likes of Arbalest for certain PvE scenarios. Bungie did however say that they won't be adding any more intrinsic anti champion mods to weapons IIRC so the last part is probably not going to happen.
That said, Vorpal and +20 range for the catalyst would be perfect on it, putting it in the light it deserves and giving it some time in the field where it's scarcely used.
Edit: Typo.

Not going to happen. SBs niche in the game is that it’s a sustained-damage primary that punches way above its weight-class in pve because of its ridiculously large magazine and ammo supply. The time it takes to spin up, and it’s auto rifle damage profile are the only things keeping it in check. Otherwise you’d have a heavy weapon in the primary slot. …and that is totally game-breaking.
