It just feels like the past 3 seasons have been written by an entirely new team, or they’re just lacking manpower or something is going on. I almost forgot how Risen and Haunted were super bare bones themselves, but they at least had the luxury of being released with a new Expansion/Brand new Dungeon/Raid/Open World etc.
Plunder doesn’t have any of that, and it’s not that good of a season to begin with and has been the final straw for players. Now you’re finally seeing all the bottled up frustrations being let out, and rightfully so.
(KF is great, but isn’t brand new and doesn’t have the same engagement as Vow did)*

It is being written by a different team, the way they write characters has declined quite obviously. There's one of them that is an outright edge lord and their turn at the characters is always super cringey.
