You won't match anyone in Crucible. Matchmaking takes so long that it times out.

Then he'll either have to suck it up and take the small amount of lag or try his luck with crossplay off

Better than writing 1 useless post. You complain about crossplay, you literally have the tools necessary to get rid of crossplay yet you refuse and instead want the game to change around you
