yeah smg and pulse spam is worse than the HC meta ever was , long range engagements are meta, special weapon overuse.
and to top it off the new comp mode will have 3v3 rift yay, not. having a objective mode in 3v3 comp solo will be terrible since most cant even play control properly.

I agree that smg's and side arms are a little too range-y right now. I do not mind the pulse rifles as I have always used them. One chunk specials will always be in the meta as they reduce the TTK for whatever primary or alternate slot they are using. When you can instantly hot swap to an already loaded weapon, you can always reduce your TTK faster than any counter. And that is not even mentioning two classes can use movement to evade exposure and, essentially remove, damage and, in the case of Titans, can one shot melee any resilience before you can kill them unless you are using burst damage weapons. You should be punished by straight lining an opponent, not rewarded with an overshield.
