Because well is created by the sword in the ground. A bubble is created by the titan. Destroy the sword, well leaves. Destroy the titan, bubble leaves. Simple.

By this example please explain how tether, silence and squal, nova bomb, and gathering storm linger after the caster dies?

Because tether is powered by the arrow. Silence and squall is powered by the kama of squall. Lingering storm is powered by the arcstaff. Nova bomb is powered by itself.

Yes, the same lore where we see Ikora use multiple nova bombs in a row, full blown fly, seeing Cayde swap supers after mid activation, and ward of dawn last 4-5x longer than normal since they’re “holding it up”.

I wish titan had an exotic where the bubble would last longer if they stay inside.... Also...ikora might have been using OG skull of dire ahamkara. Which gave back full super on like 4 kills. And cayde took advantage of the super charge change...where damage recieved charges super faster.

Nope, actually I changed my mind now that you brought it up. I’m not comparing apples to oranges. So “offensive” supers linger, and defensive ones not, but bubble doesn’t while well does. “The sword powers the well” well who powers the sword? If we’re going by the logic of offensive supers then well is an “offensive” super which is ridiculous. Yup, it has gone exactly as I thought. A bunch of CRAP explanations from people I’d expect that exact kind of from.

They don't need an explanation. You're comparing apples to oranges. Support vs offensive supers. Nova bomb doesn't last nearly as long and can be negated by other supers before it even lands. Ice flavored blade barrage is a different type of super entirely but can also be negated before the storm is unleashed. It does need a duration nerf. And I haven't faced the lightning rod yet but it should be able to get shot like well and tether. -
“They don’t need an explanation” I take back my previous response. I can’t be comparing apple and oranges if “they don’t need an explanation”. Offensive super = linger Supportive super = don’t Except for some reason well doesn’t follow this rule. Why?

Well is more support than it is defensive, bubble is defensive because it shields you from outside damage, well is support because it buffs you and you can kill when you cast it

You shoot the rod it doesn’t even register damage. I got stuck in a corner and couldn’t get over or past it… wastes a full clip and not a single number appears

The fact that you can't shoot it is stupid. Do you know if it can be destroyed by other supers like throwing hammer or golden gun? Probably not but just curious. -

Though you can’t shoot the lightning rod, I’ve already tried, though that’s was near the beginning of the season. Edit; Actually, no, I change my mind. I’m not comparing apples to oranges. So offensive supers get to linger, supportive not. Except well is supportive and lingers.

Because it doesn't effectively defend why a Well deserves to stay but a Bubble doesn't. Both are created using Light. The sword used to create a Well isn't a regular sword, it's the same sword used during a Dawnblade super. For Titan Sentinals, they can make their Shield into a Ward of Dawn. Same concept. Titans are being treated unfairly. Signed, a Hunter.

Who cares about the lore? Bubble is 10 times more effective than well, and you can get get killed out of well much easier than bubble.

Nova bomb is sustained as an independent thing. It's a burst of energy that eventually fades away. Titan bubble is sustained explicitly by the titan. Hence why, for example, zavala was straining to keep up his bubble in that one cutscene(I think from the red war campaign)
