The only thing that you can do is hope (or even ask) that others report it and Bungie censor it; this will change it to Guardian#9986. Given some of the names that do get censored, I should imagine Bungie would do so here if people do report it. Sadly, there is no other option for you to change it. Bungie may give players another name change in the future but they have not mentioned anything about this yet.
