If Control is your idea of “loose” SBMM…
… I would love to know what your idea of “strict” SBMM looks like. Currently, I’m playing people from no less than 4 continents in one lobby. This isn’t acceptable. Connection quality is terrible and nothing works properly with this much lag and desync. I can’t believe you’re planning on ruining Iron Banner like you’ve ruined Control by adding SBMM.

I mean it's not really strict skill based matchmaking. It's more forced wins and losses and it matches people with higher and lower skill ratings. I'd call it Bungies Skill Rating Matchmaking. It's to get bad players and casuals the illusion they are getting better so they buy more Silver and DLCs.
