Stormcaller rework pls?

Many in the community agree that Arc Warlocks aren’t very viable overall. I believe this is a problem of the subclass as a whole rather than specific abilities. Arc Warlocks are not in any way unique. The one definitive ability that Stormcallers have is the arc soul, which is rarely utilized because of its low damage output. Bungie stated that they wanted players to “feel like they were channeling the power of the storm through their bodies.” To make it feel more like the fantasy that both Bungie and the players want, I propose the following: Reintroduction of Arc Web Arc Web was the predecessor of the jolt ability that allowed players to chain lightning with their abilities. While it was changed into jolt and given to all classes, reworking it into either a new aspect or adding it to a preexisting aspect would help Arc Warlocks with their uniqueness and viability problems. It should work like the following: While amplified, jolt effects deal increased damage, last longer and/or chain to more enemies. Combination of Melee Abilities Arc is supposed to be the Warlock’s melee-centered class, yet both melees both feel terrible to use; Chain Lightning feels too generic and Ball Lightning doesn’t feed back into the ability loop. The combination of Ball and Chain Lightning would allow more use in endgame content without being overpowered. It should work like this: Ball Lightning’s perpendicular strike will apply and trigger jolt to whatever it hits. While amplified, it will strike three times. The ability should have a longer cooldown than Ball Lightning currently does, which will also passively help with the Dead Messenger/Lightning Surge combo problem that the Crucible is currently having. I believe that the first two are almost necessity to make arc warlock feel unique and viable in more content, while not making them super broken inside of Crucible. That being said, I have a couple more buffs that aren’t as necessary but would be nice for quality-of-life. Arc Soul Target Priority on Jolted Combatants Bungie stated that they wanted to give Stormcaller a unique role in combat using Arc Souls, so they are buffing damage significantly. However, I believe a better fix would just be to allow Arc Souls to prioritize jolted enemies, allowing it to fill a more unique role/situational pick. Buffing Ionic Trace Tracking I’ve noticed that ionic trace tracking is causing the ionic trace to sometimes orbit the player, and is ultimately not collected. Stormcallers suffer from a uniqueness crisis when compared to other Arc subclasses, and I hope that the buffs/reworks suggested allow Arc Warlock to be more viable inside of Destiny.
