Go on DIM and then you will understand what you are missing. Just click on the class you are playing and it will tell which armor or weapon is underleveled. Your gear is probably not 1570, something is underleveled.
There are 2 types of pinnacles: +1 for something like 3 games of crucible, gambit and strikes, and there is +2 for current raid, dungeon, 100k+ nighfall, some story missions and master activities.
And don't bother to get to 1580 because tomorrow is a new season and light cap will increase to 1590 and 1580 is going to be a hard cap, not pinnacle

Edited by Shadowmancer: 12/5/2022 7:03:41 AMI appreciate the assistance. You can click on my profile to see all 3 of my characters, all of which have gear capped at 1570 with 1 or 2 1571 exceptions. I just see people with 1580 gear and I'm finding it impossible to surpass 1571

Yeah I see, just do now things which gives you pinnacles, at least before tomorrow, if you get a duplicate it isn't going to increase your light level. Leveling always worked for me and my friends as it was intended, never experienced any issues and bugs with it
