When players can’t even try things out because they can’t get the loot or rolls they want, that’s not a good thing. It’s counterintuitive to nearly everything that has been added to the game over the last 2-3 years. To the majority of what players generally see as improvements to the game.
Raid exotics, new lost sector exotics, dungeon weapons that aren’t craftable, combat mod accessibility, and even the lay list/world drop weapons all lack moderation when it comes to RNG. I’d even go as far as to say that RNG for some of those is trollishly bad. It gets in the way of buildcrafting. I’d say it discourages experimenting with builds but it actually prevents it.
