Let me commence with I like this season so far. The story is interesting and the progression of Rasputin, Ana and Elsie is good. The Seraph Shield encounter is long but interesting. I appreciate how much work went into developing it. I am not sold on the pulse rifle as I prefer my trusty BxR-55. For those that are complaining about the length of the exotic mission, clearly you did not do exotic quests in D1. Back to Seraph Shield. The amount of time spent to develop it must have been insane. I really appreciate the work involved. It feels epic when standing outside the station looking down at earth. Really phenomenal. I find the Destiny community not unlike a circular firing squad. It’s either complaints about time gating, then complaints later there is “nothing to do.” Or complaints that the new mission is too long. Complaints about no new exotics then complaints it’s not a very good exotic. It’s almost as if nothing will appease the community. I am wondering if those that race through the content have ever stopped to just admire some of the scenery? I am still finding little things and details on the thrown world that are amazing. On another note: I do think Bungie needs to get dedicated servers for crucible. Bungie if you are listening it’s time. And it would be nice to have some new maps. I also think charging $10 for an upgrade ticket for seasonal events when you already purchased an annual pass is greedy. And they do need to fix the mod system. Someone mentioned a kiosk like the one for exotics and legacy weapons. That would be great! And last but not least the champion mods. Requiring a particular gun type with a mod when another gun would be better to use is not fun. All an all it’s a game I do like to play until the next release of Bioshock or Mass Effect.
