I'm having that same problem. I buy a bounty and it either just keeps spinning forever or takes like 5 minutes to finally acquire. I'm on ps5 and leave this game "open" when I put it in rest mode, but even closing the game doesn't fix this. Hopefully they fix this and just fix the app in general more. The whole last month and a half the app has been -blam!-.
