Ive been testing with a good amount of high stability weapon rolls to see if they could counter the awful excessive flinch in game currently.
What I found out is that stability is almost useless in some weapons.
Archetypes like handcannons need a bit of an increase to battle high fire rate, high caliber weapons, if one decides to trade ofd range for stability. A 91 stability Austringer still couldnt really do much against ARs, Pulses and DMTs flinching every shot.
Slugs have it the worst though, I have a 90 stability Inquisitor, I tried it out and guess what, that stat is useless on all weapons of said archetype. Bungie needs to look into this, if you wont change the map rotation, at least make specing into stuff beyond range viable.
I still dont understand how pallet shotgun get overbuffed and slugs continue getting smacked left, right and center.

Edited by BraddyBo: 1/23/2023 3:21:41 AMYou need to spec into all 3 factors to gain the highest benefit. High resilience, high stability and 1-2 unflinching mods. I always run 100 res, I run somewhat high stability (without sacrificing too much range) and I ALWAYS have unflinching for each weapon in my loadout. I don’t find flinch to be a problem at all aside from sniping but snipers honestly shouldn’t be able to shoot through flinch anyway.
