Mission failed. I feel no older. Also Galaxy is overrated. 64 & Sunshine are where it's at.

  • I do admit sunshine was awesome AF though, I didn't get the chance to play 64 sadly. Galaxy to me just had that atmosphere and the music to really take you places. I'd die a happy man of Nintendo makes a galaxy 3 💯

  • Galaxy wasn't bad, but I vastly prefer the collectathon formula to the level thing. I know every level in Sunshine like the back of my hand, and remember almost all the ones in 64 pretty well, too. For Galaxy, though, I can't say I remember a single course all that well. They just aren't as memorable. Your movement in Galaxy is also a lot worse than the previous two games. It just doesn't feel as fun to move around as it does in 64 or Sunshine. It doesn't feel bad, just not as good. That said, I do think the Galaxy Spin is a great addition, and probably my favorite additional movement technique in the 3D Mario games. It's so simple, but it does make combat and platforming feel really good. Plus, the Comet Observatory is definitely the best hub, and Rosalina is the best character in the Mario franchise, so props for that. But, when I was playing 3D All-Stars, I got all 120 Stars in both 64 and Sunshine with a smile on my face, but doing the same for Galaxy it just kinda became a slog near the end. And, I didn't bother with Luigi. I dunno, it's a good game, but it feels like it's lagging behind 64, Sunshine, and Odyssey.
