Pinnacle protection when?
It's really demoralizing to get chest pieces all the time while being 5 lower than the pinnacle cap

Personally i hit Pinnacle cap relatively quick this season.

Since it has not been announced in this round, I would assume the earliest it will be announced is with the release of the next paid expansion after Lightfall.

It's more annoying knowing the system is rigged and has been for years. What's sad is when things do change all the players that praise this business for small petty things they do are going to pretend "they are listening" and try to hype up the forum and pretend it was a win, "we did it!" but will ignore the fact that they were toyed with for 4 years before this business decided to change what they did that had nothing to do with them. Most of this business ideas have not been to improve the players experience, when in fact that is what they should be trying to do. Maybe if this business wasn't just looking out for themselves, and actually started paying attention as the original developer did, and improve the players experience playing D1 instead of working against the players, things might get better. But waiting 4 years to say, okay, we give in is just wrong.

3 RepliesI don't remember if it was a hint or a credible leak, but a while ago there was someone who came out and said Bungie would be moving away from power level attacked to gear and moving towards some sort of artifact power like system.

This post really takes me back to the days when pinnacle gear mattered. Ya know, back before the artifact. This couldn’t possibly be any less important than it has ever been.

Yeah there's nothing like needing one piece of gear to be at the cap and then having to wait till next week to play the lottery again because you didn't get the single piece you needed because rnjesus decided not to bless you.

Im Artifact level 150 now and almost every engram I get is some crap I already had. In the last year I have only received ONE ship each season. I don't think its true RNG at all. I think its rigged to drop only a few new items each season. [i][b]Gunship[/b][/i]

I just wouldn't stress about it, especially now that you don't need to be as high to access gms. The desire sensor is real.

Best would be they just get rid of the 10 point bump each season and just do this once a year. Running -blam!- you are bored of to get to power level to run interesting stuff sucks. Especially without the pinnacle protection. With that said save your gear in your seasons tab from previous seasons and use it to min max holes. You should only really get stuck on a number ending in 9.

[spoiler]Today, going through the Orbital station platforming level from the Exotic quest, the dumb game decided to spawn me on some weird ledge. Can't go forward [i]or backward[/i] and Destiny it too stupid to do what any game from 20 years ago would do after I respawned a bunch of times in the same place (respawn a bit further back at a safe checkpoint). I tell you what I wont be doing, starting this level over again.
