Is anyone else having this issue? I make it as far as the character screen then after selecting my character, the screen goes dark and the "contacting Destiny 2 servers" notification repeatedly pops up.
Then I get a error screen with either 'weasel', 'centipede' or 'chicken' cited as the error code with the most common being 'weasel'.
I had no issues logging in and playing prior to the recent server outage on January 25th. Nothing about my Wifi setup has been changed. I've done the Wifi connection tests, cleared Steam cache and even tried logging in using my mobile hotspot which garnered identical results. I'm able to surf the web normally and even play other online games with no problem.
Please assist @Bungie 🙏

Are you playing on WiFi? If yes, that is likely the problem. WiFi is not recommended for online gaming due to interference. You should play on a wired network for the best results. Destiny 2 is fully online with no reported issues. All the error codes you report are user-end errors. For help troubleshooting your network, see the links below.
