I have never thought of it that way but it is certainly true. It is too bad that this “team” will never see the rationality of your post. They just want to keep consumers on the never ending wheel. The only thing that will change this is to not buy anymore of this less than half baked experience. I cancelled my pre-order. Not that my hundred dollars is going to mean much. It really will take a very large upheaval to create any waves in this company’s business model. I have hung on to the halo CE days way too long. This company is just a sad representation of the gaming developer community as a whole.

Why can we not store all materials in our vault until we need them. Constantly stacking them at post master and hope that blues or other engrams don’t overwrite what I have saved there!

I think we should get all the materials we put into a piece of armor back, when dismantling, especially exotics.

But that would decrease the amount of grind…

So many excellent points here, too many to c&p. So I'll just say this was an excellent thread overall. Here's another thought about golfballs etc... Maybe implement a consumable at EV, purchasable for bright dust (obviously and ridiculously priced say 2,000 each) that grants a chance for a boss to drop it upon defeating it, like the matterweave and such. And/or make the same consumable available for silver (so Bingo smiles) when you (anyone) runs out of, or doesn't want to, spend bright dust. Just a thought.

Bungo are more likely to start selling stuff like that than give players opportunities to earn more. Lazy budget tier dress seller is a lazy budget tier dress seller.

In D2, the material economy is very unbalanced. You either got too much or too little. 1st a/c, master work even exotic armors is taking for granted. Create 2nd a/c to experience as new light. Good lord, even the basic shard and core are scarce. And what is worse, if your family members want to play, you need to re-buy dungeon keys and season pass.

i did have an idea while back that i dont know if it would be good or not back when we were donating coins to the eliksni i thought what good are coins going to be they cant buy anything or build with them and then i thought of this idea you have an issue in the game where low end players barely have 100 shards at a time while high end players usually have around 8k not to mention crafting/levelling materials high end player have so many they have to actively delete them from their post master my idea was have 2 parts to donate to the eliksni.. 1 part is for low end players you would accept a bounty in exchange for levelling materials an loot exchanging your time to manually help them for high end players the second part would be exchanging massive amounts of currency in exchange for loot an rewards like XP boons the idea being the high end players are exchanging their levelling materials to the eliksni so they can pay other guardians to do manual labour for them the OOC goal being to bring both ends of players together and creating more middle players you would have to figure out the exchange rates but that is the most important part if its to cheap the rich just get richer while to expensive and your lock out low end players i suggest a weekly lock out so once you have donated a certain amount you no longer receive rewards other then XP boons ""XP boons" are 1 time use +500 XP tokens that stay in your inventory regardless of season you can hold 999 of them but they would be rare again you would have to figure out what amounts you want i think this idea does 2 things 1 it actually makes sense in game and out of game and 2 it brings players closer together when it comes to the economy using incentives by rewarding both types of players id like the make this event last for 3 to 4 months just to reach an equilibrium maybe you rotate out the rewards so people dont just target farm/burn themselves out
