Or just get rid of these currencies altogether. Let us level up our weapons and gear and then when they hit a certain cap it just becomes master worked. Our current economy is a relic from an older time when there was nothing to do in the game. Material grinds are a product of weak development teams.

While that sounds like a great idea, Bungie’s implementation of weapon leveling in D1 was such a slog. Think about how often you rank up with Banshee, you can only carry 5 bounties and each rank up is ONE perk at a time, from the barrel options, sights and then the random perks. It was painfully slow.

Banshee....you gain xp by dismantling legendary weapons as well as bounties
