Just tell me officially. I don't think you ever have. Everyone says just report them for griefing, but is it?
I'm not asking for everyone's opinion on who needs to not be a baby, or whatever. I'd like Bungie to actually tell us if it's OK. Just own up and tell us what the real story on it is. I know a lot of people have complained about it, but it doesn't matter if it's an acceptable behavior. I mean if it is, I'm probably just going to equip The Other Half for the rest of my career and just yeet people all the time. I mean it's OK right? I don't care if I'm becoming part of the problem, sometimes more problem finally leads to a solution.
Edit: Didn't expect this to really go anywhere, but it just reinforces my point. No one has shown anything other than personal opinion on if it's griefing. I've yet to see a moderator chime in or someone to link anything that gives a definitive answer. I don' think there's anything against it officially anywhere and I think the people who are reporting it are just wasting their time.

Edited by FloodZ: 1/31/2023 3:28:38 PMI am amused by how the pro-eager edge comments invariably fall into one of two categories: "Stop complaining, it almost never happens so it's not a big deal." and "Stop complaining, I do it all the time and it's hilarious so it's not a big deal." Even if it's only 200 people out of the ~800,000 daily player count that are eager edging other players during only one strike per day, that's 400 people they're potentially annoying, every day. It's not surprising that after a few days they'd find someone annoyed enough to make a forum post about it.
