No thanks. Diversity in relationships is important to having an open mind. I will gladly fraternize with the meat eaters.

  • Oops. Impossible Meat and Beyond Meat are vegetarian "meats". They are plant based meats that actually taste like meat and not like some disgusting soy based plant based meats. Impossible Meat and Beyond Meat can be seen in grocery stores everywhere, and is known to be a meat alternative for vegans and vegetarians, as that was its main audience for a while. Also, many fast food restaurants have included Impossible or Beyond have used this product to be "healthier". Even though they still drown it in oil and butter. I'd advise just to cook it yourself. I thought you would've had a preference for either one since you eat a vegetarian diet. Unless you don't miss the taste of meat at all and could care less about vegetarian "meats", then that makes sense why you wouldn't have an opinion on the two. I prefer Impossible Meat because if you overcook Beyond Meat, it becomes rubbery.

  • Ah, I see. I don’t eat fake meat. There are two reasons for this: 1. When I was but a wee li’l Aifos, my dad was not happy with how I stopped eating meat. He would cook up real meat, and try to tell me it was imitation meat. But, I wasn’t stupid, and his lie quickly fell apart when he was never able to produce the packaging. It goes a bit further than that, though. When I refused to eat the meatstuffs I was served, I wasn’t allowed to leave the table because I hadn’t finished my dinner. So, I sat there for hours, alone, and probably crying, at the table with a plate of meat in front of me that I wouldn’t eat. Fun. I can’t trust fake meat anymore, even if I know it’s fake. 2. Meat is nasty, and I have never once ever thought “Man, I wish I had something that tastes like meat!”. Even if it weren’t for my traumatic childhood experiences, I doubt I’d be eating any fake meat anyway.

  • Oh, I’m glad because I eat probably over 150 pounds of meat a year at least
