I got messaged and accused of using a controller bot(?) because I was having a good game and landing my sniper shots by some one who was clearly in the lead that game. I'm on M&K and some times(some times) I get some good games. Should we all get reported for having a good game by some one who's feeling got hurt? See the problem here? It would be a report option based almost entirely on the reporting parties feelings.
It would be a report option based almost entirely on the reporting parties feelings.
Is that not every report? What you said has nothing to do with what I'm asking for and by your logic we might as well remove all reporting altogether unless somehow you have absolute, undeniable proof of an offense, which is absurd.

Connection reports can be investigated by Bungie(they can see the data from their side), hacking and exploiting can also be investigated. Recoveries cannot. There is the logic.
-
Disagree; they can absolutely investigate recovs with data they have that we can't see. Just like hacking and other cheats/exploits.

How IP? Something like that? But. . . Is not against TOS to let some one play on your account. Or for you to recover your account on another system and play there. So, what can they do? Unless the one being paid for a recovery cheats, there is nothing that can be done, because they can't prove is not you playing.

If nothing could be done about it, they wouldn't have made it against their ToS. They're obviously not going to tell us how they detect recovs, and if you don't let someone recov your account, then you should have nothing to worry about.

It's on their TOS so those that were being banned for using cheats couldn't use the excuse that they let some one use their account so it wasn't them using the cheats.
