Green = Creativity
Saw the new trailer, guns looked cool I guess.
Armor though…
Hunters get a green overshield. It’s like an overshield… but green. Incredible.
Titans get a Khepri’s horn copy/paste. But wait… ITS GREEN! And shoots 3 instead of one! Amazing!
Warlocks get green iceflare bolts. But it’s got to be different, right? Because it’s GREEN.
It feels like the design team took things from different subclasses and dunked them in pickle juice.
Can’t wait to get handheld green explosion, or weighted sewing needles. But that’s the whole green thing, right? Reuse and recycle.

There's a pretty decent chance that all Strand effects will just be copy and pasted stuff scavenged from existing effects and reskinned just like Stasis.

6 RepliesI’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this. The weapons, too, look….underwhelming. Reminds me of nerf guns- The sidearm gives off major Cryostesia (Or however it’s spelled) vibes.

8 RepliesThe fact that these 3 exotics literally didn't bring ANYTHING new. I don't expect new armor mechanics or perks for every new exotic piece, but when they're the first ones to be related to a brand new element, I sure as hell do. They just decided to bring basic functionality perks to strand, that already exist on other subclasses. That's trash.

Even the exotics just look like reuses of existing perks. The glory days of this game are behind it.

As usual, I’ll wait and see what the product delivers before I buy it! So far I haven’t seen any content worth. Lots of great free tweaks and adjustments, however the newly reskinned content looks boring, and the seasonal model with its ever longer time gated repeat 100x every week BS is all over the place. New abilities wise, we all know things like emitting a wave with the barricade is going to be tied to one aspect or something like that gives only 1 fragment, or that it’s going to be so weak only patrol fans will enjoy using against their 3 red bar challenge. Thank god Bungie’s marketing team, aka streamers are all over the place to hype their boot licker. They have pretty much two more years left to make a pension out of them.

Really not hyped at all, but won't judge before I see everything in action, once it's out. They might end up being good.

I did not find that hunter exotic special but when I see the others they looked cool. And yes they are very green.

It does seem that strand is armor related... Without the proper armor piece(s), the abilities won't trigger. Swinging from a strand is a bit different than the status quo of movement to date. [spoiler]Look for New Light Tarzans and Janes next season[/spoiler]

I'm starting to think strand may be stupid. Like maybe it doesn't belong in Destiny's sandbox. It's a pretender. Bungie mailed it in. Where's my poison stalker assassin subclass? I know, it's sight unplayed... but I am truly not excited for warlock and titan.

The creative department at bungie is dog water. Green striker. Green khepris horn. Warlocks got green blade barrage. Green ionic traces (but they go to enemies instead 🤯) I mean come on. It’s so -blam!- lazy.

Honestly I think warlock an titan you can do some cool combos with their supers i think the hunter one has potential but that depends on how fast you swing an combo with their super.

3 RepliesI had really hoped that the next subclass was going to be Corruption like it was speculated. Strand doesnt really look all the interesting to me besides the grapple and depending on how it can be used, is definitely going to be a pain point. A lot of the gameplay just makes this look like green Stasis.
