This is why I switched my main to a Titan. Not that the Titan doesn't have useful PvP exotics, but almost all of them are beneficial in PvE too, whereas the Hunter exotics, a lot of them are PvP niche.

Bungie needs to make all classes equally great in both modes but they refuse to let anyone other than hunters have fun in pvp. Titans can work in pvp because most of their bs slides under the radar.

  • ????...I'd say Arc Titan is king at the moment... Even if you disagree with that, you can't argue that Titans are most DEFINITELY all over PvP right now as they are usesble. I'd say only Warlock needs some love for PvP.

Even through arc 3.0 hunters are still the most played/dominant class. Most crucible titans are void anyway because of the shield bs. The storm grenade isn't spammed as much in pvp as pve because even before the nerf it wasn't quite as potent. I did say that a lot of titan bs slides under the radar if you bothered to read more than the 1st 2 words. Never have I said titans needed a buff. They really don't.

  • I read it all...not coming at you...just stating that after you said "Bungie only wants Hunters to have fun in PvP" that frankly it isnt true.

Hunters seem to get everything focused for pvp, while anything titans and warlocks get is for pve and if it works in pvp then it's purely accidental since warlocks are always the fastest and most harshly nerfed. Meanwhile, hunters are left untouched for an entire year before they get an "adjustment". I say adjustment because they trade 1 broken pos thing for another every expansion. The only thing titans are infamous for is oem and that was years ago, but it did take a year for it to finally get dealt with. Hunters have had far more issues and warlocks never get to keep anything. The warlocks' only claim to fame was icarus dash and that provided absolutely nothing other than mobility. Mobility that provided 0 benefits that hunters enjoy from dodging. Now look at solar 3.0 warlock. Only 1 super and 2 air based aspects that have 0 business in pve and one of them makes you a floating duck in pvp. Pvp is the hunters playground that titans can partake in if they so choose.

  • So I'll start by saying we both agree Warlocks could use some buffing for PvP, so we can leave them out of it now. Hunter definitely has a lot of PvP focused gear, and arguably the most useable subclasses atm. BUT, Titan does have at least 2 viable options (I hardly see Solar or Stasis Titans, nor do I play one so I cant judge those classes). Arc Titan is very viable and comp right now, and has exotics that definitely compliment their playstyle. Void isnt as potent, we just are seeing it a TON right now due to Iron Banner. Bubble is always a solid option on capture based game modes. In regards to the new exotics, I'll wait until they release to see what they really do, and how effective they are before making a fair conclusion on them.

  • The reason solar isn't seen much is the fact the subclass relies on it's aspects without the aspects the entire subclass is basically dead one of them is almost useless in pvp without some major build such as lowering an enemies health down to get a kill with ashen (You need to do this twice before you can get a one shot grenade generally making it more of a 6v6 build plus one miss is gameover for the build). Void basically relies on overshield and bubble spam both are very powerful in pvp but without it I'd argue it's probably at the bottom. Arc right now relies on one shot melee and juggernaut to be broken so yet again once those are gone it's another subclass nobody will use. Stasis on the other hand is actually balanced only one thing is broken and it's how many stasis crystals you can spam other than that it's all good but no op. I think people avoid Stasis because it isn't just press button become op but requires a build.
